National Seminar on mineral sector

MGMI organised a National Seminar on Mineral Sector last week in a glittering function at The Oberoi, New Delhi on 8th August 2024The theme of the seminar was "Challenges & Opportunities in Mineral Sector" (COMS 24). The Seminar was attended by both Shri G Kishan Reddy, Hon'ble Minister of Coal & Mines and Shri Satish Chandra Dubey, Hon'ble Minister of State for Coal & Mines. Secretary, Mines, Govt of India was also present in the inaugural session along with a host of Additional Secretaries from MoC and and CMD of CIL. Secretary, Coal interacted with the large and expert audience in a session later in the day. Many other presnt and past CMDs of PSU Mining Companies and CEOs from the private sector were also present. The speakers dealt with various topics in 3 Technical Sessions - Coal, Metals and Critical Minerals. The President MGMI, The Secretary, MGMI and the Convener of the seminar thanked all concerned for making the seminar a grand success.
